Measure the cabinet inside
To assign another function to a closet, take its interior width, its depth and the height of each division. Photograph supports and joints that you can see without disassembling. The exterior dimension does not allow us to know what objects will fit after reserving the space of a hinge, a guide or a bottom that must remain.
Identify fixed divisions
A piece may be part of the cabinet system and need revision before removal. Consult furniture renovation to distinguish reorganization and modification of the support. The proposal should indicate what is being maintained and what conditions are missing to check load and fixation with the new content planned for the kitchen.
Try the new feature
Place the real objects in a scheme of the interior and observe their retreat route. In custom furniture you can compare shelves, drawers and separations with those measurements. The evaluation should identify the adaptations necessary to understand the usable capacity without assuming that the same cabinet supports any use because it has sufficient apparent volume.
